He's poured his life and soul into the community; he watched the town developed into the amazing place it is, he raised his children with his wife in Poway, he's helped guide the city's development by attending city council meetings. It's this love and passion that drives Trapper Pat to give back by keeping it free for his hometown.
Through this effort, Trapper Pat also hopes to inspire younger people to care for their community as much as he does.
As a free community service, it needs to be incredibly cost effective with little to no overhead. Everything, from the equipment used to the educational online presence comes from personal funds. Additionally, Trapper Pat drops his regular job to help the community, which costs him wages.
Because we want the spirit of this service to remain free, we humbly ask for a tip or donation to keep the spirit alive. Never required, but a small donation is greatly appreciated. Even a few dollars go a long way to help offset the cost of running this volunteer service.
The donations are used to replace failing equipment, provide training, offset the cost of gas, offset the loss of regular job wages, and maintaining an online presence. Locations outside the free areas incur a small fee to recover the cost of gas.
